Three persons stabbed a 17-year-old boy to death on Sunday night in Amraiwadi area of the city. The trio then fled from the crime scene.

In his complaint to the Amraiwadi police, Nagendra Tiwari, 49, has alleged that three persons came to his house in Society ni chali at New Cotton Mill Compound, and took away his son Nikhil, 17, with them.

The three accused have been identified as Nayan Thansingh, Ankur Sharma and Gaurav Gurjar, all residents of New Cotton Mill Compound. According to Tiwari, the trio took Nikhil to a nearby temple on the pretext of wanting to talk to him.

Police investigation has revealed that the accused were sent by one Munna who used to run a garage in partnership with Nikhil.

Some days back, Munna had entered into an argument with Nikhil over a financial matter following which the latter had threatened to beat him. Fearing attack by Nikhil, Munna allegedly asked his friends to teach him a lesson.

Cops' probe also revealed that after the initial arguments, the trio allegedly stabbed Nikhil with a sharp knife on his neck before fleeing the spot. Nikhil died on the spot. Based on the complaint filed by his father, Amraiwadi police are now searching for the three accused.
