Around 1.23 lakh students, appearing for the ICSE (Std X) exam, are worried about the outcome of the results of the ‘best five’ in Supreme Court that will decide their junior college admissions.

According to Kiran Bajaj, principal, Green Lawns School, students are worried about the outcome of the ‘best five’ case. “Students have taken up subjects in group III, which the SC asked not to consider for the ‘best five’ scores,” said Bajaj.

Nearly 58,000 will appear for the ISC (Std XII) exam, which also starts on Monday. Gerry Arathoon, spokesperson and secretary of the council, said, “This year, the number of candidates appearing for CISCE exams has gone up.”
