The second convocation of Adani Institute of Infrastructure Management (AIIM) was held on the institute's campus on Friday.

The chief guest was IIM-B director Dr Pankaj Chandra. Chandra, former IIMA faculty member, said that entrepreneurship is a prospective career option. He gave the example of Israel which has the highest number of entrepreneurs per capita. He told the pass-outs to work hard for all good things and overcome challenges.

In total, 19 students received the diploma from Adani Group chairman Gautam Advani. Anupam Sawhney received the gold medal. Adani gave the opening address and spoke about the need for a specialised infrastructure management institute. AIIM director Dr Bakul Dholakia gave the concluding address, focusing on the growth of the institute and the recent challenges faced by the institute. The institute reported 100% lateral placements with firms such as Pricewaterhouse Coopers Private Limited and Tata Power Limited.
