7 upcoming Telugu films with mythological connection

Allu Arjun is all set to entertain the fans once again as Pushpa in the much-awaited sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule 

Allu Arjun’s Mathangi vesham look hints at a mythological connection and so does the song Daakko Daakko Meka whose lyrics translates to "Animals are sacrificed at the Gangamma thalli jatara and knives are coated with blood. Even the Goddess is not spared the way of this world”

Prasanth Varma’s Adhira seems to be based on Lord Indra, as hinted in first look poster where Kalyan Dasari is seen in a hooded cloak with a sword resembling a spine in his hand as lightning strikes.

Kannappa will see Vishnu Manchu in the titular role as the devotee of Shiva and Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal and Prabhas will also have cameo in the film, as gods from Indian mythology.

Prasanth Verma’s Jai Hanuman will focus more on Lord Hanuman and will show a fight with the dragons.

In Odela 2, Tamannaah Bhatia plays plays Shiva Shakti, a naga sadhu in the film. The makers are yet to reveal what the mythological angle of the film is.

Kubera is known to be the richest god and hence Dhanush’s film’s title seem to have a deeper meaning. In the teaser, he was seen standing in front of a wall which saw a painting of Lord Shiva taking alms from Goddess Annapurna.

Moreover, Amitabh Bachchan’s recent look immortal and cursed Ashwatthama in the film confirms its mythological connection
