On 25 March, 2017 millions of people from around 170 countries and territories across the globe participated in the annual bid to highlight global warming and to "Change Climate Change". Global landmarks like Australia's Sydney Opera House and India's Umaid Bhawan dimmed their lights to draw attention to the cause.
The lights were switched off at 8:30 p.m., local time on Saturday evening, to mark the 10th annual Earth Hour.
