In an incident that took place at Liwonde National Park in Malawi a baby elephant is seen attempting to save itself from the jaws of a crocodile.
The video shows the struggle of the baby elephant that takes place after the reptile pounces on its prey.
Shared online by Alexander Makanga, a herd of elephants walking towards the watering hole. Suddenly, a crocodile emerges out of the water and attacks the baby elephant. Out of fear, the baby moves back and gets the crocodile on the land.
The baby elephant tries to leave from the clutches of the crocodile but the reptile is far more powerful than the elephant.
An older elephant steps in to save the little one. The baby elephant eventually manages to get away from the crocodile.
