Most kids love snow days; days where they can just sit home and drink hot chocolate. It's the wait to see whether school is cancelled or not that's the problem. The polar vortex has been affecting the people all over the United States, Canada and Mexico. But while most kids are waiting to hear about whether they have to brave the weather for school, the kids from Durham Academy learned that they have a snow day tomorrow in the most bizarre and unusual way. Durham Academy Principal Michael Ulku-Steiner and his deputy announced that school will be closed by rappind out the announcement to the tune of Vanilla Ice’s ‘Ice Ice Baby’. The annoncement was one for the record books, already getting 120,165 hits on the Durham Academy's official YouTube.
