Three Horse Team painting to adorn the Russian field festival

Paintings depicting Three Horse Team i.e., Troika will adorn the Russian field festival to be held in Moscow. Artists are involved in developing a human-height tall panel weighing 30 kilograms at the Fedoskino Factory of Miniature Painting. The painters prepare for this special event in a traditional way. Chests and boxes that are made of cardboard, rolling out have various configurations that include Round, Oval, Square, rectangular and even heart-shaped ones. These boxes and chests were then placed under a press and dried for a month and later dipped into hot linseed oil and sent into a special oven. The future chest will stay for two weeks at 120 degree Celsius. This technology originated in the middle kingdom, then arrived in Europe, and later from Germany to Russian Empire. The key prospect in Fedoskino is painting art. Artists depict fairy tales characters, portraits of landscapes with jeweller’s precision. There are about 40 artists working at the factory. In order to preserve the Russian creative heritage, the panel will set a record in the history of Fedoskino Varnished Miniatures, which has been created by almost 30 masters.
