Vacationing couple Linda and Phil McNamara in Papua New Guinea probably knew their trip would be adventurous. But nothing had prepared them to experience this nature's captivating scene.
A local volcano, Mount Tavurvur had been erupting and the Australian couple decided to take a boat ride to take a closer look.
The volcano had resulted in many deaths earlier and also the burying of nearby town Rabaul in 1994. But the McNamaras got lucky considering that this time it was smaller eruption and instead were able to capture a splendid video of the shock wave emanating from the explosion.
