ShareIn an unusual medical case, a surgeon removed one kg hair from a 11-yr-old girl's stomach at a government health centre in Dadabari area of the city. The girl Sonu was suffering from stomach pain for the past three years but her conditioned worsened six months ago when she started throwing up after every meal.
A sonography was conducted three days before the operation which revealed a bunch of hair in her stomach, Rajendra Sharma who conducted the operation told PTI on Sunday. She was suffering from a medical condition in which a patient pulls his hair and eats it, Sharma said. Her condition is improving after the operation, he said.
