Former Aussie PM John Howard faces the shoe in Cambridge

A student hurled a work boot at the head of former Australian prime minister John Howard during a speech at Cambridge University on November 4, 2009. The attack left Howard unhurt.

The shoe was intercepted and caught by University Union senior officer Andrew Chapman. The student was removed from the chamber after he threw the boot and the matter was reported to local police.
