IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn 'shoed' away in Istanbul

A Turkish journalist threw a shoe at International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn outside Bilgi University in Istanbul ahead of key meetings on the world economic crisis on October 2, 2009.

Strauss-Kahn dodged the shoe while the protestor, Selcuk Ozbek, was overpowered by security guards and dragged away from the venue.
