Now, the Turkish MPs get into a brawl in their parliament

Only a few days ago, the world had their eyes set on the Indian parliamentarians for use of knives and pepper spray during a debate that got out of hand. In a rather embarrassing incident for Turkey, members of parliament from the ruling AK Party (AKP) and the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) got into a scuffle during a debate on February 15. The argument which led to the brawl started over a draft law which will give its government tighter control over the appointment of judges and prosecutors, at a parliamentary session in Ankara.
