At least 20 people were injured tonight when two explosions rocked a busy market in Lahore, hours after a suicide bomber killed 10 people at a court complex in Pakistan's northwestern city of Peshawar.

The blasts occurred at Moon Market in Allama Iqbal Town area of Lahore shortly after 8.45pm. Witnesses said at least 20 people were injured in the attack. The explosions caused a fire that engulfed several shops and a bank, witnesses said.

Rescue workers rushed to the area, which was cordoned off by security forces.

They said the possible target of the blasts was the police station in Moon Market.
