Former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn's home located on the prestigious Dumbarton Street in Washington DC, has officially gone on the market for $5.2 million.

It was reported in early September that the scandal-plagued Strauss-Kahn and his wife Anne Sinclair were zeroing in on a real estate agency to help them sell their Federal-style brick rowhouse, The Washington Post reports.

According to the report, a luxury real estate brokerage firm Washington Fine Properties has now listed the home for sale.

Located in Georgetown, the house has been carefully restored with the highest quality to accommodate the living and entertaining needs of the purchaser.

The house, as described on the firm's website, has a 'light-filled' entry hall with marble flooring, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen and basement and upper level.

The home was purchased in Sinclair's name for $4 million in 2007, and the couple later did some major renovations.

According to the report, the property does not come with parking but does feature a lovely garden and swimming pool.
