South African prostitutes have complained that they did not get enough customers because of the World Cup.
According to CNN, they said that soccer fans were so engrossed with the games that they did not seem to be in the mood for sex.
"No one is interested in sex at the moment," the New York Post quoted Tori, the owner and founder of one of Johannesburg's most exclusive escort companies, as saying.
"I enjoyed watching the games, but I can't wait for everyone to just go home now! "The World Cup has been devastating. It's been the worst month in my company's history," she added.
