Pak terror attack: Afghan media says Mullah Omar dead, Taliban denies the report

Afghan channel TOLO news said that the one-eyed Taliban chief was shot dead as he was being moved from Quetta to North Waziristan by former ISI chief general Hamid Gul.

Elusive Taliban chief Mullah Mohmmad Omar has been killed in Pakistan, Afghan channel TOLO news reported quoting a source in the Afghan national directorate of security.

The channel said one-eyed Omar was shot dead as he was being moved from Quetta to North Waziristan by former ISI chief general Hamid Gul.

According to the source, Mullah Omar has been killed two days ago. But there was no official confirmation of the report and as to who killed him.

Meanwhile, China CCTV quoted its correspondent in Pakistan as saying that Tehreek-e-Taliban denied Omar's killing.
