Pakistan today said it was awaiting India's response to its request to share the findings of the probe into the 2007 bombing of the Samjhauta Express cross-border train service.
"There has been no progress to this end and Pakistan hopes that New Delhi will expedite the process to bring the perpetrators to book as 60 Pakistanis lost their lives in this incident," foreign office spokesman Abdul Basit told a weekly news briefing.
Basit was responding to a question about the investigation in Samjhauta Express bombing that killed 68 people.
In response to another question, Basit described new and renewable energy resources minister Farooq Abdullah's statement that Kashmir is an integral part of India as "shocking."
The spokesman said that Kashmir is a disputed territory and the matter should be resolved in accordance with the "aspirations" of the Kashmiri people and UN resolutions.
