Several NATO fighter jets violated Pakistani airspace over Kurram Agency.

According to locals, the NATO aircraft crossed over into Kurram Agency on Friday through Afghan border and flew up to five kilometres inside Pakistan border.

The planes returned to Afghanistan after few minutes without reporting any untoward incident, The Nation reports.

NATO helicopters had entered the same region last year; firing several rockets, which had killed three Pakistani soldiers.

The incident had forced Islamabad to shut the NATO supply route that traverses Pakistan. It had also suspended the delivery of goods to foreign troops in Afghanistan.
