LONDON: The late Princess Diana's driver Henri Paul was supposedly not drunk while he was driving the ill-fated car that crashed and killed the princess and her lover Dodi Al Fayed, the British paper The Daily Express was quoted as saying.

Sources close to the investigation are saying that the test stating that the driver was drunk were faked.

Experts claim the level of alcohol showing in the test are so high they would have made it impossible for even to just stand up.

The driver's parents have issued a statement saying, "We think it is terrible that our son's blood may have been swapped. Perhaps the authorities thought we would just accept their reports at face value. But we do not. With Mohammmed Al Fayed's (Dodi's father), we are determined to carry on the fight to get the truth."
