London: A Brit woman, who shed 10 stone from her 21 stone weight, has decided to get married again so she can have the perfect wedding pictures.

Amie Meloy, 28, had been 21 and half stone when she first married and she did not like the wedding pictures, but after slimming to a 11st blushing bride she finally has the wedding album she always dreamed off.

"This time I felt like a princess. The first time I knew people would just see a fat bride but I'm so proud now," News of the World quoted her as saying.

The call centre worker joined Slimming World and started dieting after falling pregnant with first son Kaiden, now four.

She was terrified being so overweight could affect her pregnancy, so she stopped feasting on chocolate bars, Doner Kebabs three times a week, pizzas and chips and lost 2st after Kaiden was born.

Second son Preston, one, followed and Amie managed to shed another 2st, then went on to reach her target weight of 11st.

When mechanic hubby Philip, 33, saw Amie's new slimline figure as a bridesmaid at a best pal's wedding he came up with the idea of having their big day again.

"I love her whatever her size. But she looked amazing - so I suggested we got a wedding album to be proud of," Philip said.

Amie swapped her old size 26 outfit for a slender size 12 strapless dress and they booked the same hotel near their home in Whitehaven, Cumbria, where they wed in 2004 - inviting family and pals again.

"I was so excited. We recreated all the pictures. It was the album I'd always wanted," she said.

"I will still keep a picture of our original wedding on the wall but I want a huge picture of my skinny wedding.

"I was the bride I'd always wanted to be," she added.
