London: Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has indicated that former President General (r) Parvez Musharraf was involved in the conspiracy of his late mother Benazir Bhutto's assassination.

The Nation quoted Bilawal, as saying, that the killer of his mother had only pulled the trigger, while the gun had been loaded by the dictator.

Speaking at a function organised by the UK People's Party to celebrate the late Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto's birthday, Bilawal said the Rawalpindi incident was a great conspiracy against the Bhutto family and solidarity of Pakistan at the same time. But his mother frustrated this plan.

Bilawal hoped that the assassins of his mother and their financers would soon be wiped out from Pakistan.

Recalling his childhood and memories, Bilawal disclosed that when people asked his mother why she was so fearless, she would answer that the life and death was in God's hand, adding that was the reason that there is not a peck of fear in him too.

He added that PPP had inherited economic problems from Musharraf's regime, and was finding it hard to counter extremists who had been playing the gory game in collaboration with the dictators.

Bilawal appealed to the people of Pakistan to extend every possible help to the Swat IDPs.

"The IDPs had lost their dear ones in the same way as I have lost my mother. Each and every individual of my family is committed to Pakistan," he said.

Revealing his future plans, he said he was striving for a double degree in a bid to realize his mother's dream.
