In an effort to help re-elect Barack Obama in 2012, the presidential campaign has officially gone upscale and chic with fashionable items.

Their new “Runway to Win” line of designer campaign swag is now for sale in the campaign’s online store, featuring colourful 85-dollar tote bags by big name designers Vera Wang and Diane Von Furstenberg and a 75-dollar version by fashion favourite Tory Burch.

Stars like Marc Jacobs, Beyonce, Sean Combs and Jason Wu, who designed Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown have each contributed a design, ABC News reported. 

They items range in price from 45 to 55 dollars a piece.

The costliest of the 13 items listed online is a 95-dollar for a Thakoon-designed silk scarf.

Standard campaign t-shirts cost 30 dollars, while a simple canvass tote costs 50 dollars.

According to www.barackobama.com, the money raised from the sale of campaign-themed apparel and accessory will benefit the Obama Victory Fund, a joint account of both Obama and the Democratic National Committee.
