An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted Simeulue of Indonesia at 5.16 GMT on Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 45.80 km, was initially determined to be at 2.4540 degrees north latitude and 96.1676 degrees east longitude, reported Xinhua.
