At least 36 people have been killed in attacks on the western Libyan city of Misrata by forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi since Saturday, a rebel spokesperson there said.

At least 36 people have been killed in attacks on the western Libyan city of Misrata by forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi since Saturday, a rebel spokesperson there said.
He said that eight people were killed in bombardment on Sunday and 28 on Saturday. More than 100 had been wounded over the same period, said the spokesperson, Safieddin.
"Gaddafi's brigades, using Grad rockets, carried out random bombardment on Sunday. They targeted several areas here. There are eight martyrs. Thirty-four people were also wounded," he said.
