ShareBeijing: Chinese state media say a 13-storey apartment building under construction in Shanghai has toppled over almost intact, killing one, AP reported on Monday.
Footage on state broadcaster CCTV showed the whole building lying on its side.
Xinhua News agency said that a 28-year-old worker, Xiao, had gone into the building to get his tools and tried to jump out of the window when the building fell.
The accident took place on Saturday morning in the Lotus Riverside residential community in Minxing district. The cause of the incident is being investigated, Xinhua said.
