Prince Harry and the First Lady met for the start of the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto. Before they could even sit down together and chat they posed for a series of pictures and Harry and the First Lady's an unusual picture is now the talk of the town all because of Prince's unusual gestures.

The picture has Melania Trump and Prince Harry posing where Melania stood up with her arms on her sides confidently, while Prince Harry is seen with a devilish expression and his hand was half-tucked behind his jacket with fingers pointing outside.

The onlookers apparently noticed this and the question now is if Prince Harry intentionally posed the unusual way or was it at the spur of the moment.

Body language experts suggest that there are many such pictures where the Prince has held his jacket before but this specific position was new.

Joe Navarro, the author of 'What Every Body is Saying: An Ex-FBI Agent’s Guide to Speed-Reading People,' is doubtful if he should judge the pose of Prince Harry in the picture. Pointing out to the photo he says that a number of factors are responsible for weird and unusual picture. And that a photo is a moment in time, various reasons could have led to this particular positioning.

“Had the photographers loitered too long? Is there something else going on?” he asked, adding, “I have to wonder, was he going to unbutton his jacket and then changed his mind? Was he in prep for sitting and then they asked him to stand again to do more photos? To me, you can’t draw too many inferences from the photo. I wouldn’t personally read too much into that.”

Joe agrees to the fact that there is some level of stress visible on Prince Harry's face in the picture. He also adds that Prince Harry and his brother have an unusual tendency to cover their tummy, which is a self-soothing behaviour to deal with a bit of tension.

Another body language expert, Patti Wood, author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language & Charisma, told Huff Post that, “This is called the horn or the devil’s horn, and what people are saying in the media about it is not correct,” she said. “It is not a sign that he’s the devil, but rather a warning off of evil spirits. It’s a protective gesture against evil or darkness and illness.”

Wood clearly identities this tendency to cover one's belly as an act to comfort oneself in tense situations.

Wood also points out that Melania Trump has held her hands close to her body which is also a sign of tense environment. Both their smiles also project enormous tension in the picture. Whereas in case of Prince Harry, the hand position cannot lead to any kind of judgement.
