Robbery gone wrong! Remember those hilarious scenes from 90's hit movie series 'Home Alone' when the 'wet bandits' Harry and Marv failed miserably to capture 8-year-old smart kid Kevin McCallister or the trio from another 90s hit 'Baby's Day Out' where they are every time outsmarted by the one-year-old baby?  Well if you don't, this incident in China's Shanghai of a robbery attempt went absolutely wrong should remind you!

The video of a robbery gone wrong went viral on social media in China where one of the robber's hit his own partner during the heist.

In the CCTV footage released by Shanghai police on Weibo, it shows the two robbers, who covered their face with mask and wore hoodies, attempts to break into a shop believed to have glass door with bricks. As the first man moves forward and aims directly on the glass door, the other man throws off the brick aimlessly thus knocking off his partner to the ground. He hits his accomplice in the face who then falls unconscious into the ground. He then drags his unconscious partner from the scene.

Calling the burglary attempt one of the world's worst to honouring the robbers with 'World's Dumbest Burglar title', Twitter users seemed to be cracking up from the whole incident.

"Shanghai police released this footage of what might be the two people in the world least qualified to pull off a life of #crime," a user tweeted on Twitter.

"World's Worst Burglar Clocks His Partner In The Head With A Brick," another user tweeted.

"Dumbest burglars ever? Surveillance footage of failed robbery released by Shanghai police," wrote another Twitter user.
