Viral Video: Dad's response when his son picks a mermaid doll

When Mikki Willis' son Azai, received the same gift on his birthday from two different people, he suggested they go to the toy store to exchange it.

When they got there, the toy Azai chose was a mermaid doll. Mikki took this opportunity to let his sons and everyone else know how he feels in a video clip on Facebook.

"Now how do you think a dad feels when his son wants to get this?" he asks in the video,as he hold the mermaid to the camera. "Yeah," Azai screams out and Willis agrees, saying "Yeah. That's how I feel. I let my boys choose their life." Adding that he wants his his boys to know they have his promise to "forever to love (them), accept (them), no matter what life (they) choose." 

The video has been running wild all over social media with over 14,733,482 views in just three days.

After the video went viral, Mikki wrote on Facebook, "It's a reminder of how much we all need to feel embraced and accepted." Adding, "I see so much negativity being shared through social media that this is my way of bringing a little balance, at least to my friends. To know we've touched people beyond our immediate community is both humbling and awesome!"
