US President Donald Trump on Monday lashed out at Pakistan, saying they will not be given funds any more. Trump lashed out at Pakistan on Twitter and accused them of fooling US politicians in the past. Trump said that he would stop it. Trump often has made broad statements which hasn't resulted in coherent policy decisions. However, Trump's tweet about Pakistan is in sync with White House's increasing hardening of stance about India's arch rival.

Both US Ambassador to UN Nikki Haley and US Secy of State Rex Tillerson have sharpened their attack on Pakistan in recent times and asked for accountability in recent times.

Here's what Trump tweeted:

The administration has especially been miffed with UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed being given bail by Pak Court. He is currently roaming freely in Pakistan and even was seen sharing the stage with Palestine envoy to the country.

JuD Chief and 26/11 Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed continues to spread religious hatred from the Pakistan soil as he, recently, invited all Islamic states to launch 'Jihad' against the United States and Israel.

Hundreds of JuD activists participated in a rally 'Tahafuz Baitul Muqaddas' at the Istanbul Chowk here. The event was attended by JuD leaders, including Hafiz Saeed and Abdul Rehman Makki. The event was conducted in the wake of the US President Donald Trump-led administration unilaterally identifying and declaring Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

US has systematically been slashing monetary aid to Pakistan and leaders from both the major parties have asked Pakistan to clean up their act.

US President Donald Trump in August this year laid out a tougher approach to US policy towards Pakistan, while unveiling his updated Afghanistan policy.  Trump, in a prime-time televised address at a military base near Washington, warned he could reduce security assistance for Pakistan unless the nuclear-armed nation cooperates more in preventing militants from using safe havens on its soil.

"We can no longer be silent about Pakistan’s safe havens," Trump said.  "Pakistan has much to gain from partnering with our effort in Afghanistan. It has much to lose by continuing to harbor terrorists." Trump also said the United States wanted India to help more with Afghanistan, especially in the areas of economic assistance and development.
