Twitter trolls Trump over claims that thousands attended his inauguration concert at National Mall

US President elect Donald Trump claimed that thousands attended his inaugural concert at the Lincoln memorial on Thursday.  The concert featured artistes such as country star Toby Keith, 60’s soul singer Sam Moore and Rockers 3 Doors Down. Singer Jennifer Holliday backed out at the last moment after an outcry from Trump critics. Many A-listed celebrities had earlier turned down the Republican candidate’s invitation to perform at the inaugural ceremony.

After Trump announced that the concert was a jam-packed affair, people took to Twitter to claim that he was making that claim up. While we may never know how many people did attend, we have to attribute the power of social media for the number of shares some of the tweets have received.
