With the US elections less than two weeks away, a tough competition ensues between President Donald Trump and  Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden. While many polls have claimed that Biden will emerge as the winner, the fight is so close that only the actual election can clear. Among the numerous predictions, what has caught the attention is that an American mystery series predicted Joe Biden's win in the US elections back in 2016. Surprising, isn't it?

Netflix's 'The OA', created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, is an amalgamation of supernatural, science fiction and fantasy genre. In the second season of the series, the protagonist wakes up in a parallel universe and the year is 2016. The nurse asks her who the President is and she replies 'Barack Obama'. Shocked as she hasn't heard the name before, the nurse removes a curtain that unveils a TV with a news channel running the headline 'President Biden addresses veterans'.

It may be noted that the series showed that Biden won the 2016 Presidential Election.

While it's just a small scene in the series and doesn't have any significance at all in the series, discussions on Reddit over the prediction are now gaining traction as Biden is officially running for the Presidency.

A user Reddit posted, "In Dimension 2 - why do you think Biden is president and the lady doesn’t know who Obama is?"

This comes as a picture from another TV series 'The Simpsons' went viral after it allegedly claimed that Donald Trump would die on August 27, 2020.

In the month of August, a picture was going viral on social media claiming that the American animated sitcom 'The Simpsons' had predicted US President Donald Trump's death on August 27, 2020? Well, the claims are back!

The image shows a cartoon version of Trump lying in a coffin and gives an impression that it is a still from an episode of the show.

The photo started trending on Twitter after a viral video asked users to look for significant incidents linked to August 27, 2020, and somehow it was linked to Donald Trump's death, gathering attention from all over.

However, the image turned out to be fake and no episode of the sitcom actually predicted his death. The date August 27 was just a random date picked by several TikTok users.
