Security tightened on Remembrance Day in London amid fears of attack on Queen Elizabeth II

British police have tightened security on Remembrance Day service at the Albert Hall after four suspects were arrested by armed counter terrorist operatives yesterday for plotting a terror attack on Queen Elizabeth II.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Queen Elizabeth is due to lay a wreath at the cenotaph in London to mark the start to London's Remembrance Day memorial. The Queen and British Prime Minister David Cameron were briefed on the arrests yesterday.

Heavily armed counter terrorist police swooped across High Wycombe and west London in the Thames Valley. The police detained the men at locations across west London and High Wyocombe Road as routine surveillance was going on.
