Prince George is now a big brother to his little sister!

After a week after the original due date, Kate Middleton has given birth to a baby girl. Official tweet from handle of Clarence House announced that the girl came in the world at 8.34 am GMT.

The 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge was admitted to the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, where her first baby Prince George was born in July 2013.

Prince William was present in the hospital at the time of the birth of his daughter.

The baby girl weighs 8lbs 3oz and both, mother and daughter, are doing well.

The Queen Elizabeth II, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, The Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince Harry were informed about the birth of royal baby.

Punters were convinced they have inside information, and around nine in 10 bets were placed on the arrival of a princess. And now they have one!
