Reeva Steenkamp's mother, June Steenkamp has reportedly gone on record to say that she has forgiven her daughter's murderer, Oscar Pistorius while he faces trial in a Pretoria court for shooting his girlfriend with a shotgun a year ago.

According to the Dailystar, Steenkamp's mother said she still feels the presence of her daughter and that she will rest in peace only when the murder trial is over and justice has been done.

The South African athlete has admitted to killing his girlfriend but has maintained that he shot her mistakenly thinking her to be an intruder. The prosecution on the other hand has said that Pistorius shot Steenkamp through a closed door following a heated argument.

Meanwhile, a video that shows Pistorius re-enacting the events of the night on which he killed his girlfriend has surfaced on an Australian television network, Channel 7. The video has raked controversy because it shows Pistorius running and walking backwards on his stumps, a claim that has been flatly denied by his lawyer in court.
