The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) called on the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, Yemeni government forces and armed groups on Thursday to obey the laws of war, voicing concern at reports of civilian casualties following air strikes.

In a statement, the ICRC urged all sides to protect civilians and medical facilities, and ensure the wounded get medical care, in line with international humanitarian law embodied in the Geneva Conventions. The independent aid agency said it had donated supplies for treating war-wounded to Taiz and Aden hospitals, which have received dozens of injured.
