Prince Harry will become 10m pounds richer when he turns 30 on September 15, as he would receive the amount from his late mother, Princess Diana's inheritance.

According to the will of the Princess of Wales, who died in Paris in 1997, a share of her fortune was supposed to go to her sons William and Harry when they turned 25, but the executors had later changed the age to 30, the Daily Express reported.

A palace source told The Sunday Times, that "inheritance was in line with what Prince William received when he turned 30", however, the share of the younger prince, who lives in Nottingham Cottage in Kensington Palace, is expected to be higher due to the added interest.

Though the royal has had access to the interest on his mother's fortune, in addition to the 2m pounds left to him by great grandmother Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, for the past 5 years, he is also paid a salary from the army of about 40,000 pounds a year.

The Prince, who is known for his party ways and splashing money, also has possession of some of his mother's jewellery, which he shares with the Duke of Cambrdige.
