Prince Harry recalls horrific sights witnessed during Afghanistan war

Prince Harry recently revealed the horror of war in Afghanistan saying that those images will never leave him.

The 29-year-old Prince wrote to promote his Invictus Games for wounded soldiers stating that he saw two young lads much younger than him wrapped in plastic and missing limbs, with hundreds of tubes coming out of them, and that was something he was never prepared for, the Mirror reported.

He asserted that he witnessed some dreadful things which included disastrous injuries and deaths of local people from roadside bombs, some of whom were children.

The Prince further stated that news will forget these injuries and they will all forget as the world moves on to the next conflict or natural disaster but those limbs will not grow back, friends will not return and many will be left with horrifying images and memories ingrained on their minds.
