Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski said on Friday he told U.S. President Donald Trump that he prefers bridges to walls and favors the free movement of people across borders.

Kuczynski, who has previously criticized Trump's proposal to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border, said in comments broadcast on Peruvian TV channel Canal N, that the two leaders only briefly discussed Peru's fugitive former president, Alejandro Toledo, and that his fate was in the hands of the judiciary.
