US President Barack Obama's half-brother from Kenya reportedly wants to vote for Donald Trump the Republican presidential nominee.

From his village in Kogelo, Malik Obama told The New York Post that he likes Trump because "he speaks from the heart” and that his 'Make America Great Again' slogan is "great".

Taken a back by the support,  was Trump himself: 

Malik expressed his “deep disappointment” in the Obama administration and revealed it was FBI Director James Comey recommendation to not prosecute Hillary Clinton over her use of a private e-mail servers while she was secretary of state that urged him to switch allegiance.

According to the report, he blames his brother and Clinton for the murder of Libyan leader Moammar Khadafy, who he regards " one of his best friends" and even dedicated his 2012 biography  to Khadafy and his father who he believes were “making this world a better place”.

Malik who strongly believes in the institution of marriage is also uncomfortable about the US Democratic Party’s support of same-sex marriage. “I feel like a Republican now because they don’t stand for same-sex marriage, and that appeals to me,” he told the Post.

When asked how many wives and children he currently has, Malik responded it was "personal". Media reports allege he has at least three wives.

Public records show, Obama who used to live in Maryland (US) and worked as an accountant is a registered voter and plans to travel to the United States (US) to vote for Trump on November 8.

Pictures circling on social media show Malik wearing a 'Make America Great Again' hat, proudly displaying his show of support for the New York billionaire.

In 1959, the brothers' father Barack Obama Sr, left Kenya when Malik was just one year old. Obama Sr met and then married Barack's mother Stanley Ann Dunham, after he enrolled at University of Hawaii. The President only met his half-brother in 1985. 54-year-old Barack has seven half-siblings.
