Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will be leaving for London on Wednesday for his routine medical check-up days after the Panama Papers' leak exposed his family's offshore dealings.

A massive leak of 11.5 million tax documents on April 3 revealed secret offshore dealings of world leaders and celebrities, including three of his children for owning London real estate through offshore companies. Sharif will be undergoing detailed check-up, reports the Express Tribune. However, reportedly, it has been suggested that he spends a week in London to relieve his "stress and anxiety" following the Panama leaks.

According to reports, the Pakistan Muslim League  (PMl-N) has been unhappy with Sharif's decision to address the nation on the issue of Panama Papers. Pakistani Prime Minister, in a rare televised address to the nation, last week had said a judicial commission would investigate his family for any wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in a public address on April 10, reiterated his demand for an impartial judicial inquiry and a forensic audit into the matter and if nothing conclusive was forthcoming, he urged the people to rise before it is too late.
