Grieving family members of the passengers of missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 have started a protest outside the foreign ministry in Beijing accusing the government of failing to provide updated information on the search for the aircraft.

The protesters demanded to speak to the government officials in order to get information on the search for the missing flight. There were around 30 people gathered at the gates of the ministry. According to News24, police warned passersby to vacate the area immediately and manhandled the protesters who attempted to enter the gate.

The mother of one of the passengers said that she knew that her son was alive and that she wants the government to find out where he is.

Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 vanished on March 8 while it was en route from Kuala Lampur to Beijing.
