A few days ago Malaysia Airlines received a strong wave of backlash after tweeting 'Want to go somewhere but don't know where?' in an effort to promote end of year sales.

Many people criticised the airline for its insensitivity as MH370 remains missing since March 8, 2014. The airline removed the tweet not long after and posted an apology instead.

2014 has been a tragic year for Malaysia Airlines with MH370's whereabouts unknown, as well as the deaths of 289 people when MH17 was shot down on July 17, 2014.
