Iran said on Thursday that some groups linked to the Islamic State militant group were involved in the talks in Riyadh to discuss forming a delegation for negotiations on the future of Syria, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.

"Some of the terrorist groups linked to Islamic state are involved in the talks ... These terrorist groups will not be allowed to decide Syria's future," deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said, according to Fars.
