An Indian man has been become the first Peeping Tom to be barred from every McDonald’s in England and Wales, after he was caught spying on two ladies in the restaurant’s toilets.

Sukhbir Singh, 32, sneaked into the ladies’ toilets at Birmingham city centre’s McDonald’s, where he hid in the cubicles and watched the women, the Daily Mail reported. The incident occured in February this year.

He was caught after being disturbed by a customer who alerted the staff.

Singh fled the scene, but CCTV operators tracked him and his photo was passed on to the police officers, the paper reported.

Police arrested him from Handsworth, Birmingham, ten days later, after he was recognised at junction 7 of the M6 motorway.

Singh was also charged with another offence in McDonald’s against another victim on February 3.

On Friday, he was given an antisocial behaviour order (ASBO), banning him from women’s changing rooms, toilets and all 1,200 McDonald’s branches in England and Wales, the publication said.

Singh denied the charges, but was found guilty of secretly “observing another person doing a private act for sexual gratification” after a trial at Birmingham Magistrates Court on July 20.

It is the first time, a Peeping Tom has been banned from McDonald’s after committing a sexual offence on its premises.

His photograph and a list of his offences will now be distributed to McDonald’s branches and staff will receive training to recognise him should he breach the ASBO.
