The Pakistan Foreign Office here has accused India of unnecessarily debating the bail granted to 26/11 accused Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi.

Interacting with media here, Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam said that the case was currently in a court of law and everyone should wait for the court's decision.

The Pakistan government has challenged the suspension of detention order of Lakhvi, the man believed to be behind the 2008 Mumbai attack.

The Islamabad High Court had suspended Lakhvi's detention order under the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO) and had ordered his conditional release.

Lakhvi had recently challenged his two-day physical detention in an abduction case in a district and sessions court in Islamabad.

Lakhvi was remanded in police custody for two days in a kidnapping case by a local court in Islamabad, a day after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) approved his release, reports the Dawn.

The charges against Lakhvi include his involvement in the abduction of a man named Anwar six and a half years ago.
