India is my second home- Suu Kyi

Burmese opposition politician and chairperson of the National League for Democracy (NLD), Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has called India as her 'second home', during her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Wednesday.

"India is my second home - Daw Aung San Suu Kyi to @PMOIndia," Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin tweeted during the meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the 12th ASEAN-India summit.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi met with the President of South Korea. Besides, he also met Prime Ministers of Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Sultan of Brunei. Taking part in the India-ASEAN Summit, Prime Minister Modi said that India's 'Look East Policy' has become 'Act East Policy'.
