Spot the Obama! Crowds react to former US President's appearance in NYC

Crowds on the bustling streets of New York couldn't contain themselves when a certain former US president was spotted in the city in Manhattan on Friday.

That's right! Barack Obama, who has been out of the limelight since his White House exit,  is finally back from vacation and was seen walking out from a building on 160, Fifth Avenue.

Footage of that minute was posted all over social media. The people on the street cheered out loud in excitement. 

Obama waved to those greeting him before he got into his car.

The reasons for Obama's visit has not yet been revealed.

On Thursday, an Instagram photo showed Obama in SoHo at a restaurant with his daughter Malia.
