Germany: Knifeman stabs several people at Munich train station

A knifeman has reportedly stabbed a number of people at the Rosenheimer Platz underground train station in Munich. 

News reports said police were looking for a "volatile knifeman". 

They added that police were warning residents to stay home.

The reports said police had issued a description of the suspected attacker -- that he was around 40 years old, travelling with a sleeping mat, and that he was wearing a green training jacket and grey trousers. 

The reports added that none of the injuries were life-threatening. 

Police said they were searching for the suspect whose motive remained unclear.
