The German website of online retailer Amazon.com is donating the proceeds from the sale of an anti-islamic song to the non-profit charities working for the refugees in the country.

The song, 'Gemeinsam Sind Wir Stark!' (Together We Are Strong!) is created by Pegida, a far-right, anti-islam, anti-immigration group to mark the first anniversary of their foundation.

The song released on December 21 and it surpassed the sales of worldwide hit Adele's Hello to make it to the top of the chart on Amazon's list, reports Buzzfeed News.

In response to the popularity of the song, Amazon.de page says, “Proceeds from Amazon from the sale of this song will go to a non-profit organisation aiming to help refugees.”

The reviews of the song are highly polarised as most users rating them at either 5 stars or at 1.
